A. Can they make phone calls?

Ask the facility about phone system setup.

If you know the facility name: Search visitation and phone rules here:

If calls are limited, ask:

  • What phone provider is used?
  • How to fund commissary account?

B. Is bond possible?

Not everyone qualifies.

If eligible, gather:

  • Proof of residence
  • Employment letters
  • Tax records
  • Family support letters

C. Is there an urgent medical issue?
